Hi! My name is Alicia Roland. I’m a wife. I’m a mom. I’m an occupational therapist. I’m a singer. I love saving money. I enjoy being creative through craft projects and making yummy food. I’m passionate about healthy living.
I’ve noticed that time can go by in the blink of an eye, so I’ve set out to live life more intentionally. Before I know it, a day turns into a week, a week into a month, and a month into a year. I want to look back on my year(s) knowing I’ve spent time on things that really matter to me.

I love singing and always have. I sing at my church regularly as a worship leader.
I was married in 2010 to Dave, my amazing husband. He’s great at a lot of things, and I hope that he will someday be able to help with aspects of this blog. Currently, Dave runs his own landscaping business. He has a great attention to detail and can fix just about anything. Due to his super-human auditory processing skills, he volunteers as sound engineer and is passionate about producing great quality sound. He sings and plays instruments including acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and bass guitar.
In 2011 I graduated from Keuka College with my master’s in occupational therapy. Since then, I’ve worked in school-based settings with programs geared toward children with high needs. Most of the students I work with have Autism.
In 2012 we paid off our student loan debt and have been living debt-free ever since.
In 2017 we had our first child, Gabe. Gabe currently loves all kinds of vehicles, reading books, listening to music, and playing the drums. He loves to go outside and explore as much as he can. I’m currently working part-time as an occupational therapist so that I can spend my other days with Gabe. My goal is for this to become a money-making blog to enable my family to spend as much time together as we can.
In September 2019 we welcomed our second child, Elijah. We are currently enjoying lots of baby snuggles and adjusting to being a family of four!
